Founded by double board-certified Nurse Practitioner Ivy Prothro, Ivy Skin Studio blends advanced clinical expertise with personalized care and a luxury experience. We believe healthy, confident skin starts with an individualized approach—one that addresses both medical concerns and aesthetic goals.

We believe great skin is about more than aesthetics. It’s about understanding your skin, treating and preventing damage, and enhancing your natural features with intention. Through education, transparency, and an ongoing provider-patient relationship, we’re here to support your skin at every stage.
Whether you’re seeking medical dermatology care, a subtle aesthetic enhancement, or a comprehensive skin transformation, our goal is the same: to help you achieve healthy, beautiful skin—and feel confident in it.

BOTOX® and Dysport® are neuromodulators used to treat and prevent wrinkles, fine lines, TMJ jaw pain, excessive sweating and more.
Neuromodulators temporarily block certain chemical signals from the nerves that cause facial muscles to contract. Injecting a neuromodulator into the muscle causes it to contract more gently and softens expression lines. With less underlying movement, the skin remains smooth and unwrinkled.
Toxin treatments have minimal to no downtime and last 3-6 months.
-
Dermal fillers are used to soften facial wrinkles, smooth fine lines, and replenish facial volume. Fillers can also be used to enhance facial features, such as sculpting the cheeks and chin, and adding volume to the lips. They are effective for anti-aging, addressing volume loss due to aging, such as diminished fat pads and tissue descent.
Hyaluronic acid fillers restore this volume, rejuvenating the face. When applied with skill and knowledge of facial anatomy, fillers can provide natural, undetectable results lasting up to two years.
-
Sculptra, an injectable bio-stimulator made of poly-L-lactic acid, works with your body to stimulate collagen production lost to aging. Through a series of treatments it restores the support and volume of youthful looking skin, providing results that last up to two years.

Ivy Skin Studio uses SkinPen® - the first FDA-cleared microneedling device designed to rejuvenate your skin with minimal downtime. By creating thousands of microscopic controlled injuries, this 30 minute treatment stimulates collagen and elastin. Safe for all skin tones and types, SkinPen® evens skin tone and texture, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, brightens dull skin, and minimizes pore size. It also noticeably improves the appearance of acne scarring in as few as three sessions. Microneedling can be performed to the face, neck, decollate, and small areas of the body.
To achieve maximum rejuvenation, you can supercharge your results by pairing the treatment with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP).
-
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a non-surgical treatment that harnesses your body's own natural healing power to rejuvenate your skin and restore hair vitality. By drawing a small amount of your blood and spinning it in a centrifuge, we isolate a nutrient-rich concentration of growth factors. When injected or micro-needled back into target areas, this potent plasma stimulates collagen production, accelerates tissue repair, and promotes rapid cellular renewal.
This safe, autologous treatment offers total rejuvenation with minimal downtime and virtually no risk of allergic reaction. Whether you want to smooth fine lines, erase acne scars, brighten under-eye hollows, or stimulate dormant follicles for thicker hair growth, PRP delivers natural looking, long-lasting results. A series of 3 or more is typically recommended.
-
PRP Gel serves as an autologous, all-natural alternative to synthetic dermal fillers, offering immediate structural volume alongside a slow release of growth factors to regenerate your tissue. Formulated from your own isolated platelets, this biocompatible treatment actively stimulates collagen synthesis and improves skin health. The result is a smoother, more radiant complexion achieved with virtually no risk of adverse reactions. A series of 2 or more treatments is recommended.
-
Reveal your most radiant skin with our advanced chemical peels, designed to deeply exfoliate and stimulate cellular renewal. By applying a specialized chemical solution, this treatment triggers controlled peeling to accelerate your skin's natural tissue repair, cellular turnover, and collagen production. Medical grade chemical peels are highly effective at smoothing signs of aging, refining rough texture, and correcting uneven pigmentation.
